
<p>Tucked away in rural Central New York, Brian Aiello connects with nature through hunting and fishing in the surrounding landscape. This lifelong hobby means more than solitary recreation to Aiello as he finds community within the Vernon National Shooting Preserve: a 500 acre family owned preserve.</p>


Brian Aiello embarks on a pheasant hunt early in the morning at Vernon National Shooting Preserve in Vernon Center, N.Y. Brian, a resident of Baldwinsville and owner of the Rising Trout Adventure Company, starting hunting as soon as he could earn his hunting license at the age of tweleve. He regularly leads guided hunts to teach others about the technical and saftey aspects of hunting.

Brian trecks through the wet flora as Bear, his loyal black lab, leads the way to track down birds.

Brian Aiello repeatedly casts his fishing rod into the creek, patienly waiting for a fish to bite. Brian has been fishing for "as long as he can remember," with his favorite aspect being the opportunity to connect with nature. As a fly fishing guide, Brian takes groups of people out to fish and teaches them the fundamentals of fly fishing.
