In 1987, she established a champion goat breeding business with pygora and pygmy breeds, winning awards across the nation. Today, Fran enjoys a life in retirement with a herd of furry friends.</p>

At the peak of Fran's business, she traveled around the United States with her award winning goats, often dominating the competition with the high quality fleece her goats produced.

Fran's pygora goats flaunt their award-winning coats at Rainbow Spring Acres Goat Farm in Baldwinsville, NY. This type of goat was bred in Oregon, for their high quality fleece.

The most sociable of the farm's pygora goats, Elijah, nudges Fran for a treat. This goat suffered an injury to his jaw many years ago, and packs food into his cheek to create a cushion for additional comfort.

Fran Bishop's goats produce high quality fleece at the Rainbow Spring Acres Farm in Baldwinsville, New York. The fleece is known for its dexterity in hand spinning yarn for many types of apparel.

Liberty, a guardian dog, keeps a donkey company in their pen at Rainbow Spring Acres Goat Farm located in Baldwinsville, NY. She is a Komondor, a Hungarian breed that specializes in defending livestock.

Fran showcases newly collected pygora fleece - also referred to as fiber. Pygora fiber is renowned in its capability for hand spinning yarn, and the goats at Rainbow Spring Acres Farm have no shortage of it.
