Silence in Syracuse

Moving to Syracuse from the cityscape of Washington, D.C., where I was born and raised, opened my eyes to the differences between the two. I began to see Syracuse’s personality juxtaposed against The District’s architecture, its relationship with the natural world, and the silent way its people carry themselves.
