Squeeze my heart until it bursts Let me bleed myself dry. I’m clawing away from the shadows Searching for the light. Bipolar disorder requires a breakthrough during the highs and lows, recognizing the cognitive distortions and pushing past them. In this double exposure, I capture the realization that one’s reality is distorted, and the breakthrough that comes from that moment.
