The Syracuse Astronomical Society, based in Tully, New York, is led by Anthony Krishock. The star enthusiasts share their passions with the greater Syracuse area by holding monthly community observation sessions. Recently, the town of Tully proposed the installation of digital LED billboards on Interstate 81. While these are intended for advertising revenue, they would increase light pollution and hinder clear views of the Onondaga County night sky.
